Power, speed, altitude and maneuverability. The perfect combination of those capabilities has always been the Holy Grail of fighter pilots. In WWII, every new model of fighter increased the edge over the enemy, who had set the bar for performance until American design and production could catch up and surpass them. The Lewis Air Legends collection represents the major steps in the evolution of the fighter plane since the late 1930s up to the Cold War. Several of the aircraft are the only models of their type flying.
